DAY TOUR - CAPE TOWN
We begin the day by going up Table Mountain in the Cable Car (weather permitting), and enjoying the vistas of the Cape Peninsula. Hereafter I will show you the inner city, the Castle, Kompanjie Gardens and the Bo-Kaap, Malay quarters. Then, off we go to the Waterfront where we will have lunch and then explore the Oceanarium and Scratch Patch, the paradise of semi precious stones. (This Tour can be changed according to preference, i.e the Iziko Museum, District Six, the Slave Lodge). |

DAY TOUR - CAPE POINT
We leave Cape Town after breakfast and visit the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. From here we visit Groot Constantia, the oldest wine farm in the Cape and producer of fine wines which even Napoleon couldn’t resist. Our journey takes us along the beautiful coastline to Simonstown, the Headquarters of the South African Navy. We make a quick stop at the Scratch Patch, a factory that converts ordinary looking stones into shiny semi-precious stone works of art, and then head on to Boulders to watch the penguins. We have lunch (seafood is available) before we continue to the Cape of Good Hope, travelling through Fynbos to the tip of the Cape Peninsula. Here we climb (or use the vernacular) to the top and enjoy the vistas over the vast mass of ocean, including the entire False Bay. Now we are at the most southwesterly tip of Africa! Our journey takes us from here through to Kommetjie and Noordhoek, over the famous Chapmans Peak Drive (when open). This drive offers spectacular views and we continue via Hout Bay, Llandudno, Camps Bay and Sea Point along the Atlantic coastline, back to the Mother City. |

Cape Winelands Tours
We leave the Hotel after breakfast and travel along the N1 to Stellenbosch, to the beautiful Devon Valley. Here, our first stop is the estate of JC le Roux. We sample some exquisite Methode Champagnoise, to wake up our palates. From here we venture through Stellenbosch, the second oldest city in the country. Our next stop is Lanzerac, the first wine estate to market Pinotage (a truly South African cultivar) commercially. Then we move on to Hartenberg, where we have a picnic lunch (weather permitting) in their lovely gardens. Time permitting we go to Landskroon in the Paarl wine region and sample the much spicier wines, due to the granite soil of the region. From here, our journey takes us to Chamonix in Franschhoek, where we end the day with Schnapps distilled from homegrown fruits. We drive through Franschhoek and make our way back home via the N1. (This tour can be customized to include any of the wine farms, according to your preference). |

DAY TOUR - WINE ROUTE
We drive via Paarl and Nederburg, to view the well-known wine farm Boschendal, where we also enjoy a wine tasting and lunch. The menu consists of eight courses! After lunch we proceed to Stellenbosch (the second oldest city) and visit ""Oom Samie se Winkel"" - this shop will take you back in time! Then we take a tour of Stellenbosch and travel on the N1 back to Cape Town. (This tour can be customized to include any wine farms of your choice). |

THE BUSHMAN TOUR
We drive via Tulbagh, ""Het land van Waveren"" and visit the Oude Kerk and the Earthquake Museum. Our journey takes us through Ceres and Prins Alfred Hamlet, over the Gydo Pass on the slopes of the Skurweberg. Here we have a picnic lunch and continue to Op die Berg. Now we turn off the tar road and approach the Cedarberg Mountains. We follow the Bushman trail to the Shamans cave, and the birth channel and birthplace, used by Bushman women to bear their children. We proceed to Katbakkies, where Pieter is waiting for us with a traditional ""Potjie"". Gazing over the majestic rock formations and the ""other"" Table Mountain, we enjoy our supper. We have the choice of either making our way back to Cape Town or spending the night under a stupendous star-studded night sky and only returning to Cape Town the next day, after seeing the sun come up in the mysterious mountains. |
